Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information we collect through this website and during our services, why we collect it, who may receive it, and the choices you have.
Effective August 31, 2026
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to CSB Advisors, LLC (“CSB Advisors,” “we,” or “us”) and to this website. It does not control the privacy practices of independent lenders or other third parties, which have their own privacy notices and terms.
Information we collect
Public website forms
Our public forms are designed for general inquiries and initial business information, not for underwriting documents. Depending on the form, we may receive your name, email, phone number, business name, state, industry, years in business, approximate revenue range, approximate financing amount, general use of funds, preferred contact method, and the message you choose to send.
Do not place Social Security numbers, tax identifiers, account numbers, tax returns, bank statements, financial statements, SBA forms, identification documents, or other sensitive underwriting material into a public website form.
SBA packaging and financing support
For certain SBA financing, CSB Advisors may provide administrative loan-packaging support as an SBA Agent, Packager, or Referral Agent where applicable. If you ask us to provide that service, we may receive information and documents needed to assemble or transmit an application package. Depending on the lender and transaction, those materials may include tax returns, bank statements, financial statements, debt schedules, ownership information, SBA forms, identification information, and other lender-requested records.
When documents are needed, we will provide separate instructions for sharing them. We use those materials to perform the requested packaging or administrative service, communicate with the participating lender as authorized, and meet applicable SBA, lender, legal, tax, security, and record-keeping requirements.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps for security and reliability. We also measure aggregate traffic and page performance, including how many people visit a page, roughly where visits come from, and how quickly pages load.
Lending partner referral links. When you click a link on this site that sends you to a third-party lending partner, we may record the click, including which partner, where on the site the link appeared, the referring page, browser type, and a shortened form of the IP address. We use this to understand referral activity and site performance, not to build an advertising profile about you.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and our analytics are not intended to build a profile of you across unrelated websites. The site may use session cookies for authorized staff who sign in to private administrative areas.
How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and arrange a conversation.
- To understand your business and financing objective.
- To provide and administer business consulting services.
- To make lender introductions when appropriate.
- To provide SBA packaging or administrative Agent support where applicable, including organizing and transmitting materials to a participating lender as authorized.
- To send updates or insights where you asked to receive them.
- To operate, secure, and improve the site and our systems.
- To meet legal, tax, SBA, contractual, and record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use your information to make a lender's credit decision.
Who processes information for us
We use service providers who process information on our behalf to operate the site and related business systems. Current site processors include:
- Vercel: Website hosting, server logs, and privacy-friendly traffic analytics.
- Neon: Managed database hosting for submitted enquiries.
- Resend: Delivery of internal email notifications when an enquiry is received.
Additional service providers may be used for secure document exchange, business communications, or other operational functions. Where a provider handles confidential or sensitive information for us, access should be limited to what is reasonably necessary to provide the service.
Lending partners and SBA transactions
CSB Advisors is not a lender. Where financing is what you are looking for, we may refer you to an independent third-party lender. If you choose to proceed with a lender, the lender's own privacy policy and terms apply to information it collects and controls.
If CSB Advisors is providing SBA packaging or administrative Agent support, you authorize us to share the information and documents reasonably necessary to perform that service with the participating lender and, when applicable, with SBA or other parties involved in processing the transaction. We do not control the lender's independent underwriting, credit decision, pricing, terms, closing, or funding.
We may receive compensation from participating lending partners for referrals and, where applicable, SBA packaging or Agent services. Compensation is subject to the applicable lender agreement and SBA requirements, and Agent compensation or fees are disclosed as required, including on SBA Form 159 when applicable. You are not required to use a lender we introduce.
We may also share information where required by law, to establish or defend legal claims, with professional advisers bound by confidentiality obligations, or as part of a business transaction involving CSB Advisors where permitted by law.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and engagement information for as long as reasonably needed to respond, perform the requested service, maintain business records, satisfy applicable lender or SBA requirements, and comply with legal, tax, contractual, or potential claim obligations. You may ask us to delete information sooner, subject to records we are required or reasonably entitled to retain.
Security
We use encrypted connections and reputable service providers and limit access to people who need information for a business purpose. Sensitive financing documents should not be sent through the public inquiry form. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the information we handle and will provide notifications when legally required if a reportable security incident occurs.
Your choices
- Email updates: use the unsubscribe option in an update or ask us to remove you.
- Access, correction, deletion: you may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to applicable exceptions and record-retention obligations.
If you are a California resident
California privacy laws may provide rights to know, access, correct, or delete personal information and to be free from unlawful discrimination for exercising applicable rights. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, we do not use personal information for those purposes.
If sensitive personal information is provided as part of an SBA packaging engagement, we use and disclose it for purposes reasonably related to providing the requested service, security, compliance, and other permitted business purposes, not for targeted advertising or unrelated profiling.
To make a privacy request, email Info@commercialsba.com. We may need to verify the request before responding. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf where permitted by law and with appropriate authorization.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and the people who run them. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them through the public site.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice where required or appropriate.
