About CSB Advisors.
CSB Advisors is an independent practice for owners of small and mid-sized businesses. CSB stands for Commercial Small Business Advisors.
We do business consulting, education, and lender referrals. We are not a lender, a loan broker, a law firm, or an accounting firm, and we are not affiliated with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Most of what we do is straightforward: understand the situation, look at the options honestly, and help you decide. When a matter needs a licensed professional or a lender, we say so and point you to one.

Kevin Lee founded CSB Advisors to bring a practical, credit-oriented perspective to business owners. He graduated from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) with a degree in Business Management and brings 15 years of experience across commercial banking, commercial credit, and SBA financing.
His approach is grounded in how businesses and financing decisions work in practice. He focuses on understanding the business, identifying financial and operational bottlenecks early, and helping owners evaluate financing readiness, lender expectations, and realistic next steps.
The goal is not to promise an outcome. It is to help clients organize the facts, understand the constraints, and make better-informed business and financing decisions.
Our financing role
For many financing requests, our role is education and referral. For certain SBA financing, CSB Advisors may also provide administrative loan-packaging support as an SBA Agent, Packager, or Referral Agent where applicable. That can include gathering, organizing, and transmitting application materials to a participating SBA lender.
CSB Advisors is not the lender. We do not make credit decisions, determine final SBA eligibility, set lender pricing or terms, negotiate lender terms on a borrower's behalf, or commit a lender to financing. Those decisions remain with the participating lender.
Plainly stated
- We are not a lender and we do not make credit decisions.
- We do not negotiate loan terms on your behalf.
- We may be paid by a lender for a referral, and you are never required to use one.
- Nothing we say is a promise about a result, a timeline, or an approval.
- For certain SBA financing, we may provide packaging and administrative Agent support where applicable.
